Dance4Life

Kirkman Company is a proud supporter of Dance4Life and embraces its mission. Kirkman Company is sponsoring a ‘placement’; since November 2009 a trainee from the YSE programme, powered by Kirkman Company, has been working within Dance4Life’s international team.

Dance4Life is an international organization that mobilizes young people throughout the world to combat the spread of HIV and AIDS. By means of pertinent school projects, Dance4Life equips young people with the skills and the tools they need to achieve positive societal changes in their local community themselves. Of equal importance is that they become part of a wider social movement, bringing about serious change at other levels too. This is called the Dance4Life movement.

The initiative was launched in the Netherlands in 2004 and has now grown to become a movement in 25 countries! Young people from Dance4Life form the core of this movement and are contributing at many levels to driving down the rates of HIV and AIDS. In 2014, a year before the millennium goals have to be fulfilled, at least 1 million Dance4Life members from 35 countries will be actively involved. Dance4Life has enough supporters to continuously enhance the movement’s impact. Kirkman Company is delighted with the productive partnership and is looking forward to the future!
